This isn't the greatest picture of us, but I needed a picture that had my dad and the dad-to-be!
For Father's Day, we went to my dad's house for a Father's Day brunch. For anyone who doesn't know, my dad is recovering from a fall that left him with two broken vertebrates. He is doing well, despite the pain, and is on the road to recovery. It's about an eight week recovery time so he should be feeling back to himself by the time baby Howard is here! I have been hanging out with him and taking it easy. He couldn't make his famous waffles so I jumped in and did pretty well! My aunt and uncle and cousin were up from Texas last week (post to come!) so we all enjoyed Father's Day together!
Happy Father's Day to my wonderful Daddy and also to the Daddy-to-be, my husband, Al. He's going to make such an amazing father!

Dad ended up helping a bit because we couldn't beat the eggs quick enough...no electric mixers are allowed!
